Privacy Policy
iWater helps you build a hydration habit while keeping your personal information private. Your hydration records stay on your device, and iWater does not collect or sell them.

What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how iWater handles and stores information when you use the iOS app.
Information stored on your device
The app saves your cup size, daily water goal, language preference, hydration history, and the bloom selected for each day locally on your iPhone using SQLite and standard device preferences. This information is used only to show your progress, flower stamps, calendar, summaries, and share cards inside the app.
Share cards and Photos
Water cards are generated on your device from your local hydration record and selected bloom. When you choose “Save to Photos,” iWater requests add-only Photos access so it can add the generated card to your photo library. The app does not read or browse your existing photos, and no copy of the card is sent to the developer of iWater.
Sharing a card
When you choose “Share this card,” iWater opens the iOS share sheet. The generated image is provided only to the app, person, or service you select. That recipient may process the image under its own privacy practices; the card is not sent to the developer of iWater, and the developer does not learn where you shared it.
What we collect
We do not receive, collect, sell, share, or use your hydration records, bloom choices, generated cards, or settings for advertising. The app currently has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking technology, or third-party analytics SDKs.
Deleting your data
Because your information stays on your device, deleting iWater from your iPhone removes the app’s locally stored data. The current version does not provide cloud backup or account recovery. Cards you previously saved to Photos or shared elsewhere are outside iWater and must be deleted from those locations separately.
Apple services
Apple may process information related to downloading, purchasing, diagnostics, or using the App Store under Apple’s own privacy practices. Data processed independently by Apple is outside iWater’s control.
Wellness, not medical advice
iWater is a general wellness habit tracker. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and it does not connect to HealthKit. Choose a daily goal that is appropriate for you and seek professional advice when needed.
